Half dark green leather with marbled boards; spines with raised bands, gilt decoation and red title labels (the boards rubbed; the leather rubbed and scuffed, with worn corners; some chipping on the spine labels, and volume title labels not present). Marbled endpapers and edges (the edges faded). Faint spotting on first couple of leaves Vol. I and II, heavier on Volume IV. Damp staining on corners of the title pages of Vol. I, III (affecting the illustration and slightly affecting the following leaf) and IV. Light yellowing in margins Vols I, II and III, otherwise all interiors clean and fresh. A good+ set. .
