LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:

Great Britain: Hodder & Stoughton, 1965. Several ex library markings :Numbers written on spine , front panel of jacket is pasted down to the front board. Boards appear to have then been lightly varnished. Numbers written to back of front board. Library stamps in purple ink to titlepage, 1/2 title 1st and last text pages. Library has also written a note in ink at the top of the 1st text page that you will be fined for turning down the pages of the book and asking the reader to keep the book clean. Bizzare but it worked, the pages are white and clean with just a single page turn. Back endpaper has paper tape reinforcement where they had added an extra blank page (Increasingly bizzare) I have exised the extra page but the paper tape reinforcement remains. Considered without the library impedimendia the book would otherwise be VG. Consider it a superior reading copy of a very scarce Biggles title. First Edition. Cloth. Good+/Poor. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
