The text is illustrated with wonderful, full-colour illustrations of fish by Brian Wildsmith. 1/4 buckram backstrip. 3/4 illustrated boards with black titles. A little rubbing and bumping to the backstrip and to the book corners. Marking to the book panels along with faint foxing. A previous owner has placed their name in crayon, pink, along the title page, which has been rubbed out as much as possible. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as for underlying boards with black titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and creasing to the dustwrapper edges. There is a 2 inch tear to the lower edge of the front dustwrapper panel. A little yellowing of the white of the background. A book for the very young reader with the most fantastic colour illustrations of fish. On each page there is an illustration of a particular type of fish and a collective noun for a group of that particular dish e.g., a cluster of porcupine fish and a school of butterfly fish or even a hover of trout.
