London: John Camden Hotten, advertisements dated 1869. Original publisher's gilt decorated cloth 120x185mm, xiv, 640 pages, coloured frontis, 12 plates. The cloth is very lightly flecked and a few mild scattered marks affect the back-board. Extreme corner of title page has gently browned, otherwise internally fine, bright and fresh with the hand-coloured frontispiece plate in superlative condition.
