Pink coloured tint to the text block edges. Illustrated front cover, showing a young girl with a particularly unpleasant expression, with yellow and white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and a little chipping to the book corners and rubbing along the book edges. There is a crease that runs halfway the up the front book cover from the bottom edge. Rubbing either side of the backstrip. Browning and foxing to the text block edges and a little rubbing to the rear panel. Internally the pages have become brown, particularly around the edges. From page 216 through to the end of the book there is a stain, the full width of the page, to the lower page edge. A previous owner has placed their name, a number and date on both the verso of the front cover and the half title page. A Perry Mason mystery, following the fortunes of Fran Celane -- beautiful, sulky and under the guardianship of Edward Norton, her uncle. When Fran says she wants to get married her uncle threatens to cut her off from the fortune if she does so and then he turns up dead she turns to Perry Mason for her defence.
