Sydney: Angus & Robertson, 1919. Cloth spine with cardboard covers, illustrated endpapers. Spine ends very slightly rubbed/frayed, one corner bumped, some small pieces of cloth stuck to front cover. Interior in excellent very good+ condition, pages clean and tight, pictures bright, just a little age toning to back endpapers. The book deals with the Australian military campaign in Palestine, starting in 1916, involving the Australian Light Horsemen, the Flying Corps, the anzac section of the Imperial Camel Corps. Numerous illustration, maps and plates. It is a soldiers' book, produced almost entirely by soldiers in the field .. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
