The author Adelaide 1996. Card covers 172pp b&w photos. Some wear on covers and corners else good-very good. The author was posted to the 2/48th Battalion. He participated in the fiest 'Benghazi Derby' and was then sent to Greece where he was captured. Here he tells of his POW experiences as a prisoner and, in particular, describes his escape from a German POW camp in probably the largest successful break-out by British POWs in WWII.
