RARE This catalogue was issued under the authority of the Commonwealth Government which had decided to offer for sale, by public tender, all ex-enemy (German) properties situated mainly in the Mandated Territory of New Guinea and one in the Australian Territory of Papua, and held by the Commonwealth by virtue of Article 297 at the Treaty of Versailles. The properties detailed in this catalogue, which comprised the first group, embraced plantations in New Britain, business and residential premises at Kokopo and Ralum and trading stations within easy access of Rabaul. Tenders closed on 31st March 1926..
