The author's initials have also been embossed to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel, again in maroon colouring. Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel at the back strip and to the book corners. The top rear book corner shows underlying board. The cloth of the board has become rubbed, stained and a little grubby. A slight fading of the back strip. Light browning and foxing to the text block edges. A faint offset tanning and browning to the endpapers. Internal pages are very slightly tanned. A few handling marked internally as well.
