LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:
1899. Noumea: Imprimerie Caledonienne, 1899. 8vo. Original printed wrappers. (viii, 210pp.). Some slight foxing on the title page and some slight chipping to the front cover otherwise a good copy. Ferguson 6959 mentions a map, whereas no reference to a map appears in Greenway, Bibliography of the Australian Aborigines or Klieneberger, Bibliography of Oceanic Linguistics, and OCLC and BNF don't mention a map either. NOTE: A rare and very scarce author's signed presentation work which helped play an instrumental role in abolishing blackbirding (the slave trade) in the South Pacific and Australia.
