Scott, R.N., C.V.O.; Vol.II: The Reports of the Journeys & Scientific Work Undertaken by Dr. E.A. Wilson and the Surviving Members of the Expedition. NOTE: A complete 1st edition with an original signature of Captain Robert Falcon Scott layed down under the front portraiture of Volume 1. Captain Scott was a British naval officer and explorer who between 1901 and 1904 led the British National Antarctic Expedition. With Edward Wilson and Ernest Shakleton, he made the first extensive land journeys on the continent. In January 1912 he and his companions all perished after becoming the second team to reach the South Pole. Consequently any copies of Scott's Last Expedition (1913) that have a signature are exceedingly rare as the book was published a year after his death.
