This set is of significance on account of its provenance - being that of John Bramwell Miles, the Queensland delegate and founder of the Australian Communist Party and containing a fine inscription by J.B. Miles as well as an original portrait photograph, autographed 4 times either by initials or in full. For J.B. Miles, see A. Davidson's 'The Communist Party of Australia: A Short History' published in 1969. A desirable provennace to this classic work. NOTE: Russian Communist leader Vladimir IIlich Lenin (1870-1924) introduced the most for reading socialistic reforms in Russia during the Revolution of 1917.
