This is the biography of a doctor in the RAF who saw service in the first world war, then in India 1920, 1922, Iraq in 1929 and was concerned the modernisation Of the British Air Force. There is some discussion of anti-semitism, and the book finishes up with an overview of Southeast Asia. The edges of the text block are slightly darkened with age, and the end pages show offset tanning. There is flecking to the cloth of the binding, which is a little grubby on the front panel, and shows signs of rubbing either side of the back strip and across the base edge of the boards.
