A little wear on edges, book spine sunned, booksellers sticker on inside cover, former owner's name on fly else very good. A tale of survival in a Japanese Prison Camp, based on the author's diary whilst a POW. The author was a member of the 2nd/4th Machine Gun Battalion. He was captured after the fall of Singapore, and was sent to Japan on the Weills Maru to Kobe House.
