LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:
London, Brewer & Co c late 1860's. With a full colour lithograph very probably by John Brandard and certainly printed by M & N . Hanhart of four outer panels of Kate, sitting in a field with friends, reading a book in a hayfield, walking in town on a very cold evening and walking with an older man and then a circular inset of the titles . Wilhelm Keller wrote quadrilles and dance tunes and was also relatively obscure. He wrote the Prince of Abyssinia Quadrille in the 1870's for publisher Brewer. I can only assume that the character Little Kate was well known to people of the period because there are no clues now remaining. Folio size with music. Condition VG.
