This is a variant of Mackaness number 32, with differences in the title and caption with the poem remaining the same. Mackaness # 32 reads 'Henry Lawson's Message to the Electors of Botany' where our sheet reads 'Henry Lawson's Tribute to Tom Mutch'. Further differences occur in the caption below the title. The caption on the sheet here offered reads "It is given to a few men to receive so generous a tribute from a man of letters as is here given to Tom Mutch by his friend, the late Henry Lawson. The verses were written by Australia's greatest writer, at the Coast Hospital, Little Bay, a year before his death, and were published in the Aussie magazine in October, 1921."The sheet is neatly creased, otherwise it is in excellent condition. Quite scarce indeed.
