LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:
Sydney: Published by the Australian Star Newspaper, [1895]. Large original poster measuring 995x750mm depicting 34 members of both test teams with original photo portraits, each within a red cricket ball. The portraits are arranged against two crossed yellow cricket bats in the center of the poster with a further four bats flanking the crossed pair on all sides. The bats and ball portraits are arranged over a series of panels, some filled with statistics and facts relating to the 1894-95 tests and others with advertising. The item is exceedingly rare and we have been unable to find any reference to another copy of the poster in existence. The poster is creased but is otherwise in remarkably good condition - the item has not browned or faded and the original colours have retained their vibrancy. It has been expertly mounted and framed.
