London ,Philips & Page . 1892. .With a charming colour lithograph by The Hanhart brothers of a page of a photograph album and centred a picture of a young woman holding a fan and in a kimono type dress and with a red rose in her hand and in her hair. The composer Rose was initially somewhat obscure although he did compose 4 other waltzes and a Polka for the publishers Philips & Page. In fact it is the pseudonym of the publisher Sidney Page. The partnership continued from 1883-98 and whilst it was then dissolved Page continued to publish under that imprint until 1913.Hand dated Xmas 1892 by a previous owner. Folio size with music. Condition VG.
