Melbourne: Sun Books, 1977. Author of the diaries arrived to Australia in 1869 and began a series of diaries which were to become a unique account of life in colonial Australia. He eventually returned to Wales and the diaries were found 70 years later in a Welsh farm. They were abridged and notated by William Evans, the grandson of the diarist. A firm and sound paperback copy in good general condition. Some edgewear, some fading of the covers, a little foxing on prelims.
