First edition of this almost unobtainable and much beloved children's book, the first published fictional work by Tojours Provence author Peter Mayle. Octavo, laminate boards, colour illustrations. Boards are yellowed and bumped at corners. There is one very small spot on rear board where laminate has slightly peeled due to sticker removal. Some of the early pages in this book have minor stains from being read with dirty fingers; does not affect readability and only extends on to one illustration in a very minor fashion. 64pp.
