London: A. & C. Black, Ltd., 1939. VIII, 216 pages, list of illustrations. The text is Illustrated with 16 full page black-and-white illustrations and 14 line illustrations by K.F. Barker. Grey coloured boards with red writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. Mild shelfwear to the lower book edges. The front board has become slightly bowed. Browning and foxing to the paper edges. Browning, offset tanning and foxing to the endpapers and there is a few foxing spots to the first few and last few pages of the book. Some handling marks to the book and on the title page some light pencil marks are also present. Internal pages are quite tanned. Previous owner's name on the front paste down. Illustrated dustwrapper and dustwrapper spine, again by K.F. Barker, with grey background and blue writing on the front panel and blue and black on the spine. The dustwrapper is heavily rubbed, faded and stained. Chipping, with loss to the dustwrapper corners. The first 2.25 " of the top edge of the spine is missing. There is a split of 3.25 " to the lower front fold over edge, a split measuring 1 " to the top rear fold over crease, add their measuring 1.5 " extending form the top spine area and a 1 " tear to the lower spine gutter edge of the front panel. Along the front fold over edge there are also the results of insect activity can be seen. The dustwrapper is now protected with library sleeving. Clipping of the dustwrapper front fold over, lower right-hand corner. The further adventures of the pony Khyberie and his owner Captain Malcolm this time in Burma. 1930s children's book..
