LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:
Melbourne: Thomas C. Lothian, 1909. 152 pages, includes errata page, appendix, index. Bumping and rubbing to the corners of the boards, some discoloration of the top and front edges of the pages, otherwise a quite satisfactory copy of a book which first appeared serially in the Journal of the Department of Agriculture of Victoria between August 1906 and March 1909. In this book an attempt has been made to give an elementary account of physiology from the standpoint of the mammal and with special reference to man and domestic animals. As the technical terms employed are all defined, and there's no presumption is made that the reader has studied chemistry or physics, the book, it is also hoped, maybe read with profit by others who may not be entering upon a definite course of professional study. 64 black-and-white diagrams or figures throughout the text.. Probable First Edition. Green Cloth. Reasonable for Age/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Natural History -- Physiology.
