Bumping has also occurred to the book corners and the top rear book corner is also slightly frayed. A few marks to the book panels and that book is oh so slightly cocked. Dust marks, foxing and browning to the top paper edges and browning and foxing to the others. Some browning to the endpapers and to the internal pages as well. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing the head of a young man and in the background the figure of a woman hanging, with black writing on the front panel and spine. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. There is rubbing and fading to the dustwrapper panels and the back panel is quite grubby. The story of Jamie Mathews, who as a young boy saw his mother hung. When he grew up to be a man he went looking for his ill remembered father on a quest for answers as to why he did not save his mother.. First American Edition. Black Cloth. Average/Average.
