At the front of the book there is a section of black-and-white photographs. Beige coloured boards with black illustration on the lower right hand corner of the front panel and spine and black writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the humour of the spine and shelfwear is evident to both the top and bottom book edges. Dust marks to the paper edges. Very faint browning to the endpapers. The dustwrapper is illustrated showing various motifs of aboriginal origin, with brown and black background with white and black writing on the front panel and spine. Dustwrapper is rubbed, creased and quite grubby. The corners of the dustwrapper are chipped and the top right-hand corner of the front panel has a small piece missing. Chipping to the top dustwrapper edge and rubbing to the lower. There is a small piece missing from the top dustwrapper edge of the back panel. An investigation into the Magic as used by the Australian aborigines gathered in the 1950s.. First American Edition. Beige Cloth with Illustration. Reasonable/Poor. Octavo - up to 9 ¾" Tall.
