Within the text there are 5 fanciful full page colour illustrations and many black and white line illustrations by the same illustrator. Pale tan coloured boards with white writing on the front panel and spine. The corners of the book are bumped and rubbed, the bottom of being worse than top. The head and heel of spine are soft and bumped, and writing is faded. Panels of the book are worn and marked, and there's some fading to the panels. There is creasing on the bottom left-hand corner of the back panel. faint foxing to the paper edges. Handling marks have occurred to the internal pages and on the ffep., previous owners name. The front hinge has started to come away for the first 2.5 "from the bottom. In this book there are 5 stories written by Bernard Darwin (Charles Darwin's grandson) and wonderful illustrations by his wife Elinor. The stories are fantasy fairy tales, characters such as Grumpycats, Tupmkins, Oboli.. First Edition. Tan Cloth. Reasonable for Age/Nil, as Issued.
