The book is divided into sections; natural history of fish, fish ecology, crustaceans, freshwater fish, salt water fish, and a piscatorial dictionary. The dustwrapper is chipped and slightly torn across the whole of the top edge. The green cloth of the boards appears to have been sunned across the top and bottom edges. I found it interesting that the tackle and techniques of rigging lines, and the types of fish to be caught in France vary very little from those used in Australia.. First Edition. Green Cloth.
