Corners are bumped and slightly rubbed, and the head and the head and the heel of the spine are soft. There has been slight speckling of the cloth on bottom front cover. Some grubby marks on the endpapers, and the edge of the paper has browned. Illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as used for frontispiece, with red background with white writing on front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is very rubbed and faded. There is every chipping to the top corners of the dustwrapper and areas chipping along the top dustwrapper edge with the first 1/4" of the spine is missing.
