Lord Jowitt has made his selection of case histories, including some cases which were heard 'in camera' during the war, from June, 1940, until March, 1942, when, as Solicitor-General, he was responsible for the conduct of the trials of persons accused of espionage. Some slight discolouration inside the front and rear end papers, pages are tanned at edges, particularly along the top edge, otherwise the book itself is in very good condition. The DJ is chipped, mainly along the top edge and is discoloured and tanned where it has been exposed to light over the years, particularly along spine and outer edges.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
