Rome, 1954. 87 pages. Minor discoloration to page edges first half of book. Dustjacket a little frayed around the edges, otherwise clean and bright, except on spine where there is slight browning. There is a very fragile thin brown cover overall, translucent, ragged around spine. The author was the Vichy Ambassador to Japan during the Second World War, and the book was published in Italy some years later. The text is in French and there are many plates, several in colour, of Japanese statuettes.. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Very Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
