W E Johns was a foward thinking supporter of women in aviation as early as the 1930s where he wrote articles supporting women in aviation, in the magazine he edited "Popular Flying" Oft regarded as the female Biggles , the Worrals books stand strongly in their own right and were written when Johns was at the peak of his writing prowess.. 5th Impression.
