Black coloured boards with gilt writing on spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and there is scuffing to the other book edges. The gilt on the spine has become dull and there are marks to the book panels. Browning and faint foxing to the paper edges. Offset tanning to the endpapers and the remains of tape can be seen on both the front and back endpapers. On the front paste down, lower right-hand corner, original bookseller's sticker, can be seen. Plain text dustwrapper, with grey background with red and white writing on the front panel and spine. Chipping to the top dustwrapper edge and to the lower dustwrapper corners and spine edge. Grubby marks to the back panel and there is fading to the dustwrapper in general. Foxing to the fold overs,and this is also visible to the verso aside along with book colour.
