Coloured illustrated frontispiece, by Colin Colahan 'Australian Victory March Contingent Passing the Cenotaph in Whitehall'. The text is illustrated with numerous coloured and black and white illustrations, halftone photographs, cartoons and sketches. All illustrations done by either serving or past serving personnel. Green coloured boards with copper coloured writing on the front panel and spine. Small illustration on the front panel of 3 men. Corners of the book are slightly bumped, offering worse than top, as is the head and the heel of the spine. Some foxing to the paper edges and to the internal pages. Previous owners name on the title page. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing uniforms through the ages of the Australian Armed Services, with red background and white writing on the front panel and spine. Chipping to all corners and the bottom right-hand corner of the front panel has a 'pinch' piece missing and there is a split running from this pinch measuring 3.5" along the front fold over crease. The top rear fold over crease has a split as well measuring 1.5 ". Foxing has occurred to the verso side of the dustwrapper, the kick you along the rear fold over crease.
