He then sang After the Ball (was over) by Chas.K.Harris which was a huge hit in America primarily for May Irwin and in Britain for Lashwood . Kilgarriff lists over a page of songs. Harry Von Tilzer (1872-1946) wrote many songs than brother Albert,such as Bird in a Gilded Cage, Down at the Old Bull & Bush and Wait 'till the Sun Shines Nellie. Leigh and Bryan used the melody of Down Where the Wurzburger Flows(1902) for this song.
