With a coloured front cover and a black and white photograph of the performer Eugene Stratton (1861-1918) an American , who started his career with the Moore and Burgess Minstrels (1881) and within three years had become their principal song and dance man, had married" Pony" Moore's daughter and had his first big hit song The Whistling Coon. He sang the song for most of his career. Later he moved across to the music halls and with superb songs from Leslie Stuart he became a major star.
