Stern in New York and brought over by publishers Dean in fact the Frank Dean publishing company is of course Harry Dacre, who wrote I'll be your Sweetheart etc. James Thornton wrote My Sweetheart's the Man in the Moon and perhaps most lasting , When You Were Sweet Sixteen. Richard George Knowles (1858-1919) was a Canadian comedian and singer who first appeared in Vaudeville in Chicago in 1878 and then worked with Haverley's Minstrels where he perfected his sarcastic style. He appeared in London in 1891 and after early difficulties he was for the next 25 years was a top of the bill performer. Condition VG.
