The Cover was printed by Stannard & Son It is almost certain that the composer Watson is the lithographer Watson. Michael Watson was a prolific composer of popular airs in association with the lyricist Samel Cowans as well as writing the lyrics often himself. There is a pencil date of purchase of September 1883. The Princess Victoria of Wales was born in 1868 and obviously this picture is of her as a very young child aged 6 or 8 and yet at the time of purchase she had grown to young womanhood . Maybe this particular princess may not to have married.Folio size with music. Stitched along spine and top corner slightly curled to no effect else condition VG.
