John Murray, London, 1965. hardcover, 8 3/4" x 5 1/2", with dust jacket. GOOD book in GOOD unclipped dust jacket. Turquoise cloth-bound boards with gold type to spine, 22 b&w photographs, double-page area map. The author designed his own 30' half Cornish-half Greek sailing boat, sailed it to the Greek Islands and sought the perfect anchorage. At Skopelos, after his gradual integration with the people of the island, he built his home gradually realising what it means to have roots and to be an islander. A wonderful story! Ours is an ex-library copy with minimal stamps, slight stains to ffeps from protective covering of jacket, final page has tears (but complete), while page 15/16 has tears impeding four lines.
