ABC Radio Tapes, 21/6/98. in plastic protective cassette box. Cassette tape in AS NEW condition. Miss Olive Pink died in Alice Springs in Central Australia in 1975. She had spent many years as an athropologist working with the indigenous local people, later to become disillusioned with bureaucratic apathy. She also had a strong interest in botanty (a local Flora Park now bears her name). In this tape locals from Alice Springs tell anecdotes about her life and character, and their associations with her. Her unpublished anthropological material has been withheld from public scrutiny for 50 years, in accorance with her wishes.
