LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:

Hutchinson & Co, London, undated (post 1945?). Hardcover, 7½" x 5" (lacks jacket). Ours is an ex-library copy with embossed cover, stamps, stickers, barcode, pocket etc. Book in GOOD condition. Dark-blue cloth-bound boards with gold title to spine and front, map frontispiece (showing Hitler's planned aggression, year-by-year, in Europe), 2 other maps, 8 b&w photographs (German leaders), and appendices. The First & Second World Wars, initiated by Germany, were not due to either economic causes or the wickedness of small parties. To themselves, the Germans are the master-race, or Herronvolk; this book assesses how Germany has conducted herself through the centuries (suggesting she has cannot rest content with her status in Europe), posits that she lacks shame, and holds that Germany must climb to the level of civilisation already reached by most other countries. The corrective treatment, this book suggests, should be more educational than retributive.
