The picturesque eastern end of Collins Street, resembling Paris in some ways with its broad footpaths, shady trees and boulevard cafes', 3½" x 5½", P129, straight-cut edges. The 'top end of Collins Street' with ubiquitous tram and colourful sidewalk umbrellas. NOTE: this postcard is used; addressed to Prague, Czechslovakia, and bears 3 fivepenny QEII blue stamps and postmark 'Springvale, 17 Aug. 1964'. (B) 'Bourke Street, Melbourne. A view looking east from Queen Street showing Bourke Street with Christmas decorations. Parliament House and the spires of St Patrick's Cathedral in the background,' L 48, 3½" x 5½", straight-cut edges. Melbourne's street decorations brighten up Xmas time - signage identifies Warburton Franki, London Stores, Myer, Commonwealth Bank (two 'm's') buildings, while multi-storey Santa on Foys corner is partly obscured.
