Booklet in FAIR condition. 23 mono-colour photographs, 8 maps. The English navigator Matthew Flinders and the French navigator Baudin both arrived at Kangaroo Island with days of each other in 1802; being the first Europeans to discover and explore the location. Settlement followed in 1836. This booklet records the 'progress' made to 1970s.
