Original bookseller's label inside front cover. Book in GOOD condition. Thirty-two b&w photographs. In this wonderful travelogue, the author outlines, firstly, his seven 'Traveller's Code' rules (1. Avoidance of fellow-tourists, etc etc), and then proceeds, as it suits him, to break or expand them. He had hoped to make this a photographic book, but no, his publisher wanted text too. So here's his Travel Journal including his introverted indiscretions, with, as a reviewer once wrote of him, "a frankness which few authors would have the temerity to employ.
