LAST ITEM HELD MATCHING THIS TITLE STATED:

London: W. Tegg and Co, [1852]. Hardback. Very good+. 8vo, blind tooled cloth, viii,280pp, engraved frontispiece and three plates. Edges uncut and browned, spine and boards faded, headband loose, lower spine end torn, upper hinge tender. Heavy thumb prints soil pages 98-99 and 109, the fore edge of pages 77-80 clumsily opened with a few small chips to the margins. A most pleasing copy of this crucial work in the the American emancipation movement. Although externally worn this copy retains its vibrancy and appeal with stunning unblemished plates.
