University of Western Australia Press for the Shire of Rockingham, 1972. 560 sailing ships and about 13 steamers pulling used this little used port for a regular cargo of timber logs. The cargo was felled in the surrounding districts between 1869 and 1908 when the business all but died out. This fine books traces this history and tells the fate of many ships that bever made it. Well illustrated with contemporary black and white photographs. Pristine condition. 213pp. 245 x 155 mm
