The Duke of Edinburgh; published by the London Stereoscopic & Photographic Company, and by cromo-lithographs and graphotypes from sketches taken on the spot by Oswald Brierly. With large pull out folded track chart of the voyage, England round the horn to Australia, and embellished with pastedown coloured picture to front and end pages depicting the 'Galatea' in the Mediterranean whilst deviating from the main leg of the voyage in 1869. New quarter binding in morocco and marbled end boards - bindings by Wayne Stocks of Sydney. 487pp plus 24 additional pages of advertising the publisher's other books. Fine condition. 230 mm x 145 mm.
