Bowker and Bertram Ltd, Sussex, England 1978. An interesting book, reliant on the Lieut William Bligh original log tracing the fateful 'Bounty' voyage from Spithead, Tenerife, southward through the tropics, windward round Cape Horn, to Van Dieman's Land to Otaheite for breadfruit. Whilst bound for the West Indies the crew mutinied and abandoned Bligh and some crew members to the long boat. Near fine condition. Original illustrated dust jacket over yellow cloth covered end boards. 387pp. 190 x 125mm
