Shipping Information

Books ordered through BibliOZ.com are packaged carefully by the supplier dealers generally to very high standards. The dealer is responsible for lost or damaged books so it is strongly in their interest to observe our high standards.

BiblioQuest guarantees delivery of ALL items ordered from BibliOZ.com or your money back. It is that simple.

Orders with an Australian delivery address are processed through our Bowral NSW office. They are sent to the customer using Australia Post's Receipted Parcel Delivery service and therefore require a signature on delivery to add an extra measure of security.

We consolidate freight into Australia for books from North America and Europe using a Qantas weekly air service. In this way we can deliver most books from overseas suppliers for little more than the cost of a paperback sent airmail. Please note that each item is being sent from an individual bookdealer and not from a central warehouse so there is a separate shipping cost for each book. We calculate a discount for multiple items in an order to lower the cost to you further and this discount will be shown in your Book Basket prior to ordering.

Books ordered with a delivery address outside Australia are sent direct to that address from the supplier bookseller.

In all cases, a delivery time estimate will be displayed in your Proposed Order page just prior to you creating it. These estimates show a minimum and maximum timescale but we usually find deliveries are at the quicker end of that scale.

Total shipping/handling costs are shown within your Book Basket prior to an order being created. We stand by these estimates and only seek additional payment if the item is very heavy or a multi-volume set. If additional shipping costs are applicable then we obtain your permission in advance and you may cancel the order without penalty if you consider the cost too high.

Any applicable tax is also displayed in your Book Basket. Australian Goods & Service Tax (GST) only applies for orders with an Australian delivery address, otherwise no tax applies to purchases on BibliOZ.
