National Secure Internet Payment Service for Credit Cards
This is a highly secure method of payment because you make your credit card payment direct online to Australia's leading banking group, the National Australia Bank, via an encrypted SSL connection. This method can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and it also transmits your order instantly to the supplier dealer thereby maximising your chances of securing the items in your order. When you select this option a secure web page to the National Bank will open. You then choose PAY NOW and enter your credit card details and email address. Please ensure you wait until the process is finished as it can take some time due to the slower speed of an encrypted transaction. You will know that the payment has been successful because you will be returned to the BibliOZ website and an email from both BibliOZ and the National will be sent to your nominated address. Should a refund be necessary because all or part of your order could not be supplied then this will be deposited into your credit card account and a confirmation email sent when the order is finalised.
PLEASE NOTE: Your web browser will need to have the correct settings in order to be able to use the National Secure Internet Payment Service. If you experience difficulty, do check the following points:
To be able to transact a payment successfully on the National Secure Internet Payment Service, your web browser needs to be at least version 4 of MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator/Communicator and also enabled for both java and cookies.
Java is the programming language that is used by the National site to execute the payment in an encrypted format. Cookies are snippets of code used for the session only to navigate you from the BibliOZ website through the National payment gateway site and then finally back to the BibliOZ site again. The BibliOZ site itself does not require cookies to be enabled.

MS INTERNET EXPLORER: The easiest method is to go to the pulldown menu Tools-Internet Options and then select the Security tab. Make sure the Internet icon is selected and click on the "Custom Level..." button. Reset your security settings to "Medium" and this will enable Java applets and cookies on your browser. Click the OK buttons to take you back to the main browser screen. After you have made the payment on the National site you can always readjust your settings, though the "High" security setting makes many websites unusable or severely limited.
NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR: From the pulldown menu select "Edit-Preferences..." then click on the "Advanced" tag. Make sure the check boxes for "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" are ticked. In the section below make sure the check box for "Accept all cookies" OR "Accept all cookies that get sent back to the originating server" is ticked. When your selection is made then click on the "OK" button to return to the main screen. Again you can reset these checkboxes after you have completed the transaction.
If you have an UNPAID order and you wish to adjust your browser settings and attempt the payment again, follow these steps.
Login in with your user name and password, then click the "Order History" menu link and click on Order number. The order details will display. Click on the "CANCEL" button at the foot of the screen and the book/s will be returned to your Book Basket.
You then click on the "Check Basket" menu link and attempt the order again. It will allocate a new order number. Because the National Bank payment system uses high security encryption for your protection it is slower to operate so you need to be patient and allow it to complete the process and return your browser back to our website afterwards. If you enter your email address on the NAB payment site then an email receipt will be sent to you. BibliOZ will also send an Order Pending email with the details of your order and information about the process from that point.
